The “Father of Conservative Radio,” Rush Limbaugh, announced he has advanced lung cancer. Founder of Blessings Through Action, Our Action Place and Publisher of the Christian News Journal, Elaine Beck, and the entire team stand united together in corporate prayer with Limbaugh for a complete healing and a speedy return to the golden microphone.

Scripture tells us that if one person is hurting in the body of Christ — we all ache. “If one part of our body is honored, the whole body will be happy. If one part of the body suffers, all the other parts suffer with it; if one part is praised, all the other parts share its happiness (1 Corinthians 12:26).”

Limbaugh used the time to share about his personal relationship with God.

“I’ve had so much support from family and friends during this that it’s just been tremendous. I told the staff today that I have a deeply personal relationship with God that I do not proselytize about,” the radio host said.

“But I do, and I have been working that relationship tremendously, which I do regularly anyway, but I’ve been focused on it intensely for the past couple of weeks. I know there are many of you in this audience who have experienced this, who are going through it yourselves at the same time. I am, at the moment, experiencing zero symptoms other than… Look, I don’t want to get too detailed in this.”

Like countless others, Elaine and her late-husband Bob Beck, always considered Limbaugh as a neighbor–a friend, an advocate. Bob listened to him daily because he respected the informative work Limbaugh did and does for the country. The powerhouse radio host wanted the same as them, transcendent hope, peace and success for all Americans.

“Rush is like a family member. His pleasant demeanor and passion of sharing his remarkable desire to see America to be more Godly gave us peace and hope,” said Elaine Beck.

Limbaugh transformed AM radio, the media and political landscape. He’s continued to offer a voice for Conservatives in America with The Rush Limbaugh Show since it premiered in 1988.

We all need to pray together continuously for our friend to return to the microphone — and be the voice for America that he’s been for 30 years. God bless you, Rush Limbaugh. We know you will return, and we’re counting on it.
